Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information Patientkind collects through this website, why, and what we do with it.
Who we are
Patientkind is a trading name of The HRZN Line Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 16320687), Exchange Building, 66 Church Street, Hartlepool, TS24 7DN. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about privacy at hello@patientkind.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- Demo call requests. When you ask for a sample call, we collect your mobile number, the time of your request and the consent statement you agreed to. We use this to place one demonstration call and to keep a record that you asked for it. Our lawful basis is your consent.
- The demo call itself. The call is made by our automated assistant and may be recorded and transcribed so we can check and improve its quality. Please don't share health or other sensitive details on a demo call. Our lawful basis is your consent.
- Abuse prevention. To stop the demo being misused, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your number and of your internet address for a short time to limit how many calls can be requested. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we use your message and contact details to reply. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
We don't use your details for marketing, and we don't sell them. This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf under contract: Netlify (website hosting), ElevenLabs (the voice assistant, call recordings and transcripts), Twilio (telephone calls) and Google Workspace (email). Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on recognised safeguards, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Records of demo call requests and consent: 12 months, then deleted.
- Hashed numbers and internet addresses used to limit requests: deleted within 48 hours.
- Demo call recordings and transcripts: up to 90 days.
- Emails: as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up.
Calls we make for practices and clinics
When Patientkind calls patients or clients on behalf of a practice or clinic, that business is the data controller for its patients' and clients' information and we act as its processor under a written agreement. Questions about those calls are best directed to the practice or clinic, though we are happy to help.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, and we won't call your number again. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
